Kitron is currently looking for a Coordinator of Finance, HR, and Administration to be based in Chennai, India, where TCBB India (a part of the Kitron Group) operates. The person in this position will be responsible for several key areas, mainly for finance and accounting management, and additionally for HR management, and overseeing general administration activities of our recently established Automation and PDS (Product Data Service) branch in Chennai.
Job Description:
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Finance/Accounting Responsibilities:
- Set up financial systems based on group financial policies and local standards.
- Prepare and post local site financial transactions and ensure timely reporting.
- Manage payables and receivables from inter-company transactions.
- Prepare quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.
- Coordinate and implement financial projects.
- Prepare tax reports and ensure compliance.
- Handle insurance matters according to group policies.
- Perform other finance and accounting tasks as required.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Human Resources Responsibilities:
- Close cooperation with local managers and other stakeholders to ensure they are fully informed of HR objectives, purposes and procedures.
- Take care of legal matters and activities.
- Administer the full spectrum of HR functions, including Compensation and Benefits, Recruitment, Training & Development, and Employee Relations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for employment, travel, etc., and ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and Group policies.
- Collaborate closely with local managers and stakeholders to communicate HR objectives and procedures.
- Handle legal matters and activities related to HR.
Administration Responsibilities:
- Manage general administrative activities of the local site.
- Liaise with local authorities on behalf of the company.
- Coordinate service suppliers.
- Manage visitor coordination.
- Manage and oversee communication with the Corporate IT support team to ensure the successful operation of IT systems at the local site.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial management and HR administration (at least 3 years experience)
- Experience in working in SEZ will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of local financial policies, as well as employment laws and regulations.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Excellent problem-solving. communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in accounting principles and practices, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Experience in contract management.
- Experience in the EMS industry similar size companies.
