Kitron is looking for a Compliance Specialist, based in Chennai, India, where TCBB India (a part of the Kitron Group) operates. The primary responsibility in this role is to collect environmental compliance data from suppliers and manufacturers to be aligned with compliance regulations within all Kitron Group sites.
Job Description:
- Clarify customer, Kitron and regulatory requirements on components
- Maintain component compliance data in CIS (Component Information System)
- Assist customer on component issues in compliance, NPI (new product introduction), and serial production stages
- Perform ROHS, REACH, CMRT, IMDS, TSCA, FMD, and other compliance-related regulations analysis and issue certificates of conformity
- Follow compliance regulations changes, strive for continuous qualification improvement
- Communicate with component suppliers and manufacturers seeking to get the necessary compliance information and validate received information
- Provide internal support for compliance-related questions
- Work systematically to promote greater environmental responsibility
- Participate in projects across the organization and perform other relevant tasks delegated by management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master’s degree (lack of formal education may be substituted by relevant work experience)
- At least 3 years of work experience
- Analytical skills to perform and summarize data analysis
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English
- Knowledge of electronics manufacturing would be a big advantage
