Kitron is currently looking for a Strategic Sourcing Specialist, who is going to join a Global Sourcing Team. The main responsibility in this role is to ensure that both customer and employer’s expectations related to the sourcing of material are fulfilled.

Job Description:

• The main responsibility in this role is to ensure that both customer and employer’s expectations related to the sourcing of material are fulfilled.
• Cooperation with appointed material commodity suppliers.
• Analysis of suppliers’ quotes for all Kitron production sites (Lithuania, Poland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, the Czech Republic and the US).
• Selection of suppliers during the evaluation of received quotes.
• Cost reduction and supplier’s management to ensure timely supply chain processes.
• Identification and implementation of innovative solutions for a more effective sourcing/purchase process.

Requirements:

• Higher education within business administration, logistics, economy or technology, preferably within electronics, mechanics, automation or process industry (lack of education could be substituted with relevant work experience).
• Strong English language skills, both spoken and written.
• Experience in sourcing/procurement procedures or similar fields.
• Electronic components' technical knowledge would be considered an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel.
• Result-oriented, excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Analytical, structured and able to influence change.
• To prioritize the tasks effectively based on the department and company needs.
• Positive attitude and approach to forming a healthy working environment and respectful communication.
