Kitron is looking for a detail-oriented and technically driven Product Quoting Engineer to join our team. The main responsibilities in this role are to calculate process times, non-recovering costs and other costs during project cost calculation. We are particularly interested in candidates with a background as an NPI Engineer or Industrial Engineer, who bring strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes.

Job Description:

• Calculate labour process times and engineering‑related cost estimates for assigned projects.

• Analyze customer technical data and provide technical input to the quoting team.

• Lead project technical activities, ensuring sound engineering decisions and alignment with project goals.

• Investigate and assess process flows across all Kitron manufacturing sites to identify technical bottlenecks, evaluate equipment capabilities, and recommend engineering improvements.

• Participate in cross-functional projects and perform delegated tasks from management.

• Ensure the quality of work performed aligns with established procedures in the quality system.

• Collaboration with multiple teams on all Kitron Manufacturing sites.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master`s degree in manufacturing or electronics engineering (lack of formal education may be substituted by relevant work experience).

• At least 3 years of work experience.

• Demonstrate a solid background in electronics manufacturing, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of technical processes.

• Ability to read PCBA and electronic drawings.

• Strong English language skills, both spoken and written.

• Exceptional attention to detail and passion for excellence.

• Successfully navigate challenging deadlines and frequently changing priorities, displaying adaptability and resilience.

• Interpersonal skills including high collaboration with others.

• Ability to take initiative in solving problems and achieving goals.

• Proficient knowledge of mechanical assembly is an advantage.
