Kitron is currently seeking a Trainee to join our Automation Team under NAPS. This one-year training program offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in the field of Automation.

Job Description:

• Support end-to-end procurement activities including vendor coordination and purchase follow-ups.

• Assist in RFQ preparation, vendor communication, commercial comparison sheets, and evaluations.

• Track purchase orders, delivery schedules, and material lead times to support project timelines.

• Support inventory tracking, material planning, and shortage identification for ongoing projects.

• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and documentation.

• Coordinate closely with design, production, stores, and quality teams for material readiness.

• Assist in identifying cost optimization and alternate vendor opportunities.

• Learn and support supply chain processes specific to custom machine and automation projects.

• Follow internal procurement procedures and documentation standards.

Requirements:

• Completed a Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, or Supply Chain Management.

• Clear understanding of basic procurement, inventory, and supply chain concepts.

• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (tracking, basic formulas, comparison sheets).

• Good communication, follow-up, and coordination skills.

• Strong interest in manufacturing, machine building, and project-driven environments.

• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with a problem-solving mindset.
