We are excited to announce an opening for a PLC & Robotics Engineer position based in Chennai, India. This crucial role involves designing, programming, and implementing automated systems for our manufacturing processes, contributing significantly to our efficiency and productivity goals.
Job Description:
Design and develop PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programs based on project requirements.
Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of PLC-based systems.
Maintain and upgrade existing PLC software and hardware to ensure operational efficiency.
Coordinate with other engineers and technicians to integrate PLC systems with other automated systems.
Document PLC programming and configuration details for maintenance and future reference.
Provide technical support and training to maintenance personnel and end-users.
Keep abreast of the latest developments in PLC technology and applications to drive continuous improvement.
Design, Test, Debug, and commission Electrical panel.
Provide detailed documentation (Controls Philosophy, Description of Operation, Risk Assessment, User Manual, FAT, SAT, etc.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Automation Technology, or related field.
Extensive experience in PLC programming and automation systems design, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
At least 1 to 2 years of experience in special-purpose machine building is required
Proficiency in PLC programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Block, etc.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work with challenging deadlines.
In-depth knowledge of industrial communication protocols and interfaces.
Strong communication, teamwork, and project management skills.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
